Saguache County Sheriff App
The Saguache County Sheriff mobile application is an interactive app developed to help improve communication with area residents of both Saguache County Sheriff's Office and the Town of Center's Police Department. The law enforcement app allows residents to connect with the Sheriff's Office and the Town of Center's Police Department by reporting crimes, submitting tips, and other interactive features, as well as providing the community with the latest public safety news and information. The app is another public outreach effort developed by the Saguache County Sheriff to improve communication with county/city residents and visitors.
This app is not intended to be used to report emergency situations. In an emergency call 911
Know what disasters and hazards could affect your area, how to get different kinds of emergency alerts, and where you would go if you and your family need to evacuate. Make sure your family has a plan and practices it often.
There are many alert and warning systems to keep you and your family up-to-date while at work, home, school, or away. Learn which are available in areas you spend a lot of time and subscribe to them. Workplaces, schools, and community-based or faith-based groups may have their own similar opt-in notification systems. Make a list of all the alert systems available to you and make sure everyone in your household gets the alerts as part of your household communication plan.
Double-check that your mobile devices can get Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEAs).
With all notification systems, make sure you can find and understand the messages that are sent. Assistive communication devices can help people with disabilities and others with access and functional needs get forecasts, warnings, and emergency messages.
