Saguache County has imposed a temporary moratorium on solar projects for the purpose of establishing regulations intended to protect the citizens of Saguache County, wildlife and environmental effects.  Saguache County agrees and supports the renewable energy initiative and looks forward to working to provide renewable projects that serve this initiative.  Renewable energy with the goal of minimizing carbon footprint is the policy and desire of Saguache County.  The Moratorium is in no way designed to limit renewable energy projects that serve the goals of the County, reduce the carbon footprint, and serve the benefit of Saguache and Valley residents while considering effects on wildlife, environment, redundancy, and the interests of landowners. 

THE COMMISSIONERS HAVE MADE THE DECISION TO CHANGE THE REVIEW AND APPROVAL TIMELINE FOR THE SALES TAX GRANTS – THE FALL CYCLE WILL NOW HAVE A BOARD REVIEW AND APPROVAL MADE BY OCTOBER 31ST.   

Range View, Saguache, Colorado - Northwest Real Estate Capital Corp. is soliciting civil engineering firms to provide a civil engineering design and construction administration services for Range View, a 32-unit multifamily development in Saguache, Colorado. RFP Responses are due by October 4th at 5:00 PM (Mountain Time). The proposal will include both on-site and off-site civil engineering requirements for the project, including plans for erosion control, grading and drainage, site improvements, public rights-of-way, and site utilities.
